Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness Hiking Trail Information

Kekekabic Trail

The Kekekabic Trail, begins 50 miles up the Gunflint Trail.  Maintained by a non-profit orgainization, the Kekekabic Trail Club, the trail stays in generally condition.  Volunteers are always welcome!  The trail extends 40 miles through the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA), and is one of the BWCA's 15 hiking entry points.  Permits are required to hike in the BWCA.
