2008 - Report by Erik
Anderson
I visited the Arrowhead
Trail, Shoe Lake Road, Greenwood
Road, and the Gunflint Trail.
The Shoe Lake Road still needs
quite a bit of work since the
washout/flooding rains.
For wildlife, I saw a deer on
the Arrowhead, a fox on the Shoe
Lake Road, and a nice
bull moose on the Gunflint.
During a stop along the Shoe
Lake Road, my dogs and I enjoyed
some fresh
wild strawberries.
